About Me

My name is Kevin Welter.

I don't believe in quick fixes or technological shortcuts. Sustainable innovation happens where clear architecture, responsibility, and people come together.

Maybe it's this mix that defines me: I'm tattooed, I find balance in yoga and meditation, and competitive sports are as much a part of me as quiet concentration. Since the birth of my sons, my perspective has sharpened further – systems, decisions, and structures must not only work, they must hold up.

Craftsmanship before theory

Before I studied computer science, I completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist. That experience fundamentally shaped how I view IT.

I don't see IT as an abstract discipline, but as a craft: Systems must be built, understood, operated, and handed over.

This mindset still guides my work today. I don't just design – I implement. And I remain responsible when systems have to prove themselves in daily operations.
